Spotted this place on my first food hunt at Upp Thomson Road! Nam Kee Chicken Rice! Went there on a Sunday evening! Not really a eye-catching restaurant among those shop house, but definitely one of the best chicken rice in town.
I love 白斩鸡 a lot. Wooowwww!!! They did it well by not over-cooking it! Tenderness?! Definitely!
And the rice is fragrant and not oily!
Salted Vege Seafood Soup! Good! They are generous enough by giving you prawns! It's prawn not hei bi (shrimp) ok! Wahahahaha
Hei Zor (虾枣）with the sweet sweet sauce beside! Perfect! I love it! Crispy!! Remember to dip with the sauce before put into your mouth ar!
Ginger and chili! Mix your favorite sauces. I'm a chili and ginger eater.. hahaha
Very vintage payment counter right beside from the entrance.. The phone is still working!

Vintage Ceramic wall tiles and old time kopitiam chairs.. You can bring your ah gong ah mah here leh! Think they will like it and willing to share their old-story one more time!
If you are bringing your family for a weekend lunch or dinner, reservation is advisable. Otherwise, you gotta wait! But one things i feel good is, their service is very good! Waiting time is about 10 ~ 25 mins only.
